A founding member of a R2.25 Billion exisitng student accommodation property assembly that was an incumbent specialised REIT aspirant to list on the JSE by end 2017. The fund was assembled through extensive networking and negotiation with various property developers and student landlords.

My key functions was to initially assemble the specialised student property fund across South Africa. I was able t o achieve this over a 4 month period including sourcing facilities, due diligences and financial modelling. Thereafter my role became finalising negotiations and agreement to secure the the facilities identified. Once acquired I was tasked with the overall asset and property management and oversight of the properties and all the various functions including facility management, property management, contract management, business development with institutions and marketing campaigns for the letting up of the facilities.

Key achievements: Assembling a fully functional specialised student accommodation fund, preparing the fund and its various elements and dynamics for a JSE listing, including investor road shows, pension fund interactions and presentations and prospectus preparation and submissions to the stock exchange.
