I'm a fourth-year Mechanical Engineering student with a strong foundation in problem-solving, hands-on design, and technical analysis. Growing up on a farm in Ceres taught me the value of hard work, adaptability, and practical thinking-qualities which I bring to every project. I enjoy working with people, thrive in collaborative environments and have a passion for the outdoors.
During my time at the workshop and maintenance department of CFP, I gained valuable hands-on experience by working directly under the supervision of an experienced engineer. I assisted in carrying out daily maintenance tasks and supported ongoing repair operations. This experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also highlighted the critical importance of teamwork and effective time management, particularly during equipment breakdowns.
I contributed to the design and development of a hedge trimmer–like device engineered to cut weeds underneath fruit trees. It was specifically designed to operate without being damaged by common obstacles such as rocks and sticks, while also ensuring that the trees themselves remained unharmed. This project enhanced my understanding of practical design challenges, material selection, and prototyping in an agricultural context.
