  • As an Account Technology Strategist (ATS) I am a senior technical strategist responsible for mapping the customer's business processes and challenges to the technology, security and AI vision and roadmap. I own the relationship with the customer's technology decision-makers (TDMs) and drive the technology and AI implementation towards meeting the customer's missions and outcomes. This role requires a blend of business acumen, technical expertise, and strategic thinking to act as a trusted advisor customers and this is blend truly something I'm passionate about and truly believe is one of my talents.
  • Work Description and Key Responsibilities
  • - Own, manage, and develop the technical business relationships with senior technology influencers and decision-makers at the customer.
  • - Make use and align solution areas and programs to the strategy and customer.
  • - Act as a Virtual CTO and trusted technical advisor, helping the customer's CIO/CTO/CDO achieve their mission within the organization.
  • - Lead strategic conversations with C-level technology executives to drive new business opportunities.
  • - Understand the customer's technology landscape and AI and Security strategy to create and maintain a strategic 3 Horizon roadmap.
  • - Orchestrate and align resources through the Inspire & Design, Empower & Achieve, Realize Value, and Manage & Optimize stages to achieve the desired industry architecture strategy and solutions.
  • - Drive market-making transformations with CxO level alignment and thought leadership.
  • - Partner with various internal teams (STU, CSU, ISD, and Partners) to ensure the customer's desired outcomes are met.
  • - Generate additional qualified pipeline with a focus of technological transformation of the customer.
  • - Act as counterpart to the colleagues on the assigned account, and work with team to create new opportunities.


In my role, I have successfully established and built AI and cloud strategies for various Enterprise FSI accounts, such as Discovery, Momentum, Alex Forbes, Investec, Telesure, PPS, Bidvest, Sun International and a few other strategic accounts, I have also delivered these throuhg partner eco systems and have established great relationships in them.

I managed over 15 direct customer accounts, this was split between FSI and retail, some of the accounts included, Woolworths, Engen, Hollard, Sanlam and Supergroup.


I successfully helped customesr plan and execute refreshes on their technology stacks, help them build chargeback and depreciation models. I built roadmaps with them on newer technologies and cloud technologies that would help them achieve business goals.
