My name is Mathys Jacobus Meyer (Jacques), I’m 35 years old, married to Hanri Meyer. We’ve been married for almost 14 years and have two children (Ewan and Anelle). A few years ago I made a career change from being an Environmental Rehabilitation Specialist, to becoming a Medical doctor. I’m currently employed at Mossel Bay Hospital (Western Cape, South Africa) as a medical officer for a 1 year community service. My current duties include managing inpatient wards, visiting local clinics, managing patients in outpatient departments, doing calls in casualty, and theater (basic surgical procedures plus anesthesia). Besides spending time with my family, I also enjoy sports (Crossfit, triathlon).
