As the Director of Risk & Security for McDonald's South Africa, role is to oversee the comprehensive risk portfolio's national operations, encompassing physical security, insurance management, health & safety compliance, corporate investigations, and operational risk mitigation.

My career began with a foundational tenure in the South African Defense Force, instilling a deep-rooted discipline and expertise in strategic planning and crisis response. I have has since built a distinguished career advancing through senior leadership roles across high-stakes public and private sector environments, both locally and internationally.

Prior to joining McDonald's, I held key security leadership positions at prominent organizations including Absa Bank, Ericsson SA, and Old Mutual Limited. In these roles, i spearheaded the development of robust security strategies, led teams to reduce critical vulnerabilities, and ensured enterprise-wide regulatory compliance.
