• Attends to breakdowns with a minimum time and supervision
• Monitoring repeated breakdowns and implement other ways of repairing.

• Ensure that work is carried out to the highest standard of workmanship and safety
• Undertaking survey, testing and commissioning and major repairs to plant and equipment
• Ensure that any difficulties encountered activities are reported to Supervisor or Manager as per escalation procedure
• Develop close working relationship with production personnel to ensure that all plant downtime issues are escalated correctly and remedied promptly
• Pumps and Steam Pipes on coke and chemicals plant
• Maintenance on the cooling towers boiler rooms.

• Use of different tools that includes power tools and hand tools
• Maintains cleans, safe working environment that is in compliance with the OSHA standards, and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Perform work in a professional and safe manner, report all unsafe work practices
• MIG Welding, Arc Welding, Gas Welding, Oxy-Acetylene Flame cutting and Brazing
