For two years, I pursued my studies independently, honing self-discipline and autonomy in my learning process. Upon transitioning to mainstream education, I embraced a new challenge by shifting my primary language of instruction from English to Afrikaans. This transition demanded adaptability and resilience as I acclimated to a different educational environment and language medium.

I completed my tenth grade before relocating to Pretoria to live with my father.
