Marina Cristofoli Contreiras

I am a BEd graduate from Wits University. I graduated in 2014 and have thus far had 10 years of teaching experience. I am a qualified Foundation Phase Educator. I love the career I have chosen as working with children, I believe is the most rewarding and fulfilling job one can have, not to mention entertaining and loads of fun. One of my favourite quotes is “Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love to learn.” I feel very blessed to have chosen this path. Teaching is a calling and a passion, and I have loved every minute in the classroom. I am an honest and reliable person. Type A personality, with a touch of OCD. My friends and family refer to me as ‘organisation personified’. I am hard working and love a challenge. I am a perfectionist and will not give up until I am happy with something. I am a team player and get on well with others. I hope to be an asset to any school by bringing positivity and the good values of hard work and dedication.
