· Supervision and Leadership: They provide effective supervision and leadership to nursing staff, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and promoting a positive work environment.

· Management and Administration: The assistant manager is involved in managing administrative tasks, including shift leading, and may be involved in the CSSD of Ideal Hospital Realization Framework.

· Coordination and Planning: They coordinate and plan nursing services, including training, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

· Communication and Collaboration: They communicate effectively with supervisors, other healthcare professionals, and support staff, including more complex report writing when required.

· Compliance and Governance: They ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines, and may also be involved in risk management and internal controls.

· Financial Management: They may be involved in managing budgets and monitoring expenditures related to nursing services.

· Mamusa Sub District

• Coordinate TB and CDC programme in the sub district
• Conduct regular support visits
• Monthly and quarterly reports and statistics
• Monitor all communicable disease in the sub district
• Conduct community awareness campaigns

• Consult clients diagnose treat and dispense medication
• Compile daily statistics of patients seen
• Ordering Medication
• Health education to client
• Refer clients for counselling and testing
• Manage and refer other cases to another level of care for further investigation

• Consult clients including youth diagnose treat and dispense medication
• Offer sexual and Reproductive Health services to adolescents and youth
• Health education to adolescents and youth
• Prevent disease and reduce its burden and promote health through a multi stakeholder engagement.
• Compile monthly reports.
• Train adolescents and youth on Sexual and Reproductive Health issues
