Worked as a Resident Engineer in the following Projects:-

1. Residential Development - New Dunbar Residential Area phase 1,2 & 3 - for eThekwini Municipality Housing Department.

2. Roads & Earthworks - Upgrading of P296 from grave to blacktop - for Department of Transport.

3 .Industrial Development - Unitrans Clairwood Yard & Washbay, Access Freight Pavement Deisgn, Suprise Road Industrial Park).

Responsibilities :-

• Developed and implemented solutions to maintain and improve client infrastructure at existing sites.
• Estimated quantities and material costs during project planning to support budgeting and costing.
• Monitored execution of contract work for compliance with design plans and specifications.
• Managed quality assurance and laboratory testing for concreting operations.
• Conferred with engineering staff and other personnel to identify and resolve problems with design or implementation.
• Collaborated with civil technicians to gather project equipment and update maps, drawings and blueprints.
• Managed and participated in on-site cutovers, testing and restoration of facilities.

Contract Administration and supervision of the Upgrading of gravel roads to black top standard. These were the following Department of Transport projects:

• Nxamalala Provincial Road in Sweetwaters - Pietermaritzburg.
• Harding Provincial Road
• Sundays River Bridge in Msinga District.

Supervised replacement of AC watermains with mPVC pipes i three townships ( Ntuzuma, Kwamashu & Inanda).

Managed & supervised the construction of 3 Cell Box Culvert on the Department of Transport project ( Upgrading of Sani Pass Provincisl Road) in Underberg KZN.

Worked in Umthatha -Eastern Cape. Supervised construction of 3No.x Resevoirs, 2No. x Pump stations, 2No. Rising Mains and reticulation to three vilages.
