• Conduct incident investigations on contractors
• Develop and implement action plans for contractor safety management based on inspections and audits
• Conduct regular and ad-hoc health and safety inspections on site and keep a meticulous record of these.
• Support Contractors, sub-contractors and Contractor Owners with the registration, pre-qualification, onboarding, execution phase and offboarding phases support through Passport 360 ECMS System.
• Organize and schedule Passport 360 training sessions based on onboarding requirements.
• Lead or co-facilitate Passport 360 training sessions for contractors and Glencore employees.
• Gather feedback from participants to assess training effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders on health and safety matters.
• Support the Contractor Sub-ordinate managers with the development of Risk Assessments and Critical Task Analysis Detailed Scope of Work with the support of the Contractor Owner.
• Ensure Passport 360 Accuracy: 100% accurate data entry for contractors.
• Conduct Health, Safety, Environmental, and Community (HSEC) evaluations of supply chain partners to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Support the monthly 2nd Party High Risk Contractor Audits.
• Monitor contractor KPIs on Passport 360 and share findings with relevant stakeholders on contractors not completing or achieving set KPIs.
• Provide ICAM support to ICAM and Speak Out investigations leads in terms of reports or contractor information required.

• Act as a focal point / single point of contact for all occupational health and safety matters arising in contractor management within Glencore SA.
• Provide a comprehensive advisory service to all Operational Managers, Contractor Owners, Sub-Ordinate Managers and their employees, on all matters affecting health and safety at work and the implementation of Glencore SA's HSEC Policy.
• Assist Managers in maintaining the maximum degree of control of contractor health and safety hazards at the workplace.
• Devote as much time as necessary to occupational health and safety matters in the workplace.
• Regulate the safety of the contractor workplace giving Glencore SA peace of mind in knowing health and safety requirements are being met with regard to contractor management.
• Carrying out contractor inspections and audits in Glencore SA workplaces to identify unsafe plant, unsafe working conditions and practices.
• Reporting to appropriate Operational Managers the results of such inspections and making recommendations for remedial action.
• Bringing to the attention of the relevant Contractor Owners unresolved occupational health and safety problems.
• Assisting with the investigating and reporting on contractor related incidents, injuries and occupational health problems and giving advice to prevent recurrence
• Notifying Operational Managers of contractor incidents and hazards in line with reporting requirements.
• Carrying out contractor management training, so that all employees are aware of the risks when managing contractors.

• Engineering Discipline:

Exposed to Basic rigging, basic fitting, advanced fitting, basic plater/welder, advanced plater/welder. Practical on-site training with an Electrician, Fitter and Diesel Mechanic .

• Mining Discipline:

Exposed to underground mining operations, Understanding the operations in an opencast mine. Exposed to the operations of Coal processing.

Health/Occupational Hygiene Department:

Illumination survey (UG and Surface), Noise Survey (UG and Plant),Airborne pollutants survey, fire and explosion survey, ventilation and stone dust survey, Ergonomics survey, Thermal stress survey, Vibration survey, Radiation sources.
