• Collecting information from site, client, and any other stakeholders adequate for a successful design and implementation of the project.
• Assisting with initial site surveys, create, and analyses a design using design package.
• Arrange for lab analysis of soil, rock, and material samples.
• Drafting and develop schematic drawings, produce long sections drawings and detailed drawings for approval by the Engineer or the Client.
• Extract correct quantities from design drawings and develop a project costing for the Client which is in line with the market value of the project.
• Develop a complete BoQ for the project with correct referencing to project specifications.
• Compiling project specifications for compilation of tender documents.
• Preparing full tender documents in line with the client’s specifications.
• Performing tender adjudications, rate analysts, and responsiveness of tender and provide technical advice to client.
• Managing and control all works performed on site, and produce progress reports, inspection reports and technical advice to contractor and client.
• Preparing and update construction drawings and as-built information for the project and prepare close out report for the project timeously and correctly.
• Preparing cash projections and works program using MS Project and update the cashflow and project program timeously.
• Plan and allocate resources within the project, to balance human resources, equipment on site and materials on site for maximum work rate.
• Estimating construction costs and specify materials to be used in a project.
• Draw up timescales for deliveries of supplies, equipment, and labour.
• Inspects projects and supervise progress.

• Providing support to civil engineers in the design, construction project
