• Assisting sow while farrowing, weaning, facility maintenance, tattooing baby piglets, docking tails clipping and spraying naval cords castrating, repairing raptures, cross fostering, treating sows and baby, heat checking, artificial inseminating of sows, pig handling and movements, feeding and general care of the sows, record keeping in the breeding department

PIGGERY

• Duties include breeding and farrowing (swine)
• Slaughther house (both pigs and cows)

BEEF PRODUCTION

• feedlot duties included herding, feeding, branding, medication administration.
• Manure Management: Collection, storage, and disposal or composting.
• Animal Records: Health treatments, weights, gains, movements, and feed conversion.

PIGGERY

• Assist in ordering vaccine, medications, feeds for pigs
• Cleaning pig units
• Help in loading pigs into trucks
• Processing piglets including tail cutting, teeth clipping, and vaccination

BEEF PRODUCTION

• Feeding and Watering: Ensure cattle have consistent access to balanced rations and clean water.
• Monitoring Health: Observe animals for signs of illness, lameness, or injury.
• Administering Treatments: Vaccinations, deworming, and other veterinary protocols.
• Handling and Moving Cattle: Sorting, loading/unloading, pen checking, and moving animals with low-stress techniques.
