Responsible for implementing and maintaining all Blaze Advisor-related changes for WFS, I engage with business stakeholders to understand their requirements. I interpret and transform business requirements into high-quality, timely, and budget-friendly system implementations to enable the effective delivery of solutions. Additionally, I provide input on the implementation of strategies and identify opportunities to optimize both new and existing processes. I also ensure the current Production Blaze environment is properly maintained with regard to strategy changes and new implementations.

Responsible for the processing, quality assurance, and delivery of the P:Cubed SQL-Based data infrastructure platform, to meet minimum Quality Assurance levels across multiple complex data sources, including the P:Cubed core data and Rewards solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient operational execution of the core data streams (bureau, property, address cleaning, CIPC, score stamping, Opt Out, Datavault, etc).
• Ensure all databases meet the minimum pre-defined population stability levels, and investigation where these fail.
• Root cause analysis and resolution of problems found.
• Maintenance and additional development of SQL based QA monitoring solutions (SQL Reporting Services).
• Monitoring of daily/weekly/monthly activity statistics for the P3 Rewards events
• Specification, development, testing of SQL/SSIS solutions that are typically conceptualised within the Research and Development team.
• Testing of new variables, through the Internal and UAT processes, and assistance with deployment into production with the delivery team.
• Performs adhoc/specific requests relating to data, and integration tools (E.g. SQL/SSIS, etc).
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to clients, regarding the data sources, field derivations and new solutions being managed/monitored in the P:Cubed/Rewards environment
• Regular audit of ISO compliance.

African Bank is one of the leading unsecured lenders in Southern Africa. I worked for the Credit department where the bank’s credit policies; scorecards etc are developed and maintained. Main responsibility were as below:

• Development and maintenance of Credit software and African Bank integration
• Managing and maintaining vendor relationships
• Maintaining external and internal data
• Implementing Behavioral scoring for integrated business use
• Monthly Payment Profile bureau data
• Investigating queries from various areas pertaining to automated decisions executed by the engine
• Develop and maintain application data in a structured way to assist other areas in their analysis of the data
• Assistance on new and ongoing projects

RedScreen is a software development company focusing mainly on Financial software. Started as a developer and eventually moved into Business intelligence consultant. As a consultant, was fortunate to work with all four major bank in South Africa and also The Rand mutual assurance company supporting Redscreen systems. Established strong customer relationships as I was onsite everyday performing enhancements, reporting and maintenance on the system.
