Academic Contributions
An accomplished educator and leader within the Department of Higher Education and Training, TVET Sector, with expertise in curriculum design and educational leadership. I have led innovative teaching strategies that improved learning outcomes by 30%. With strong skills in lecturer development and resource management, I have a proven track record in enhancing teaching quality and refining student assessment processes.
As a Senior Lecturer at Ehlanzeni TVET College, Barberton Campus, with 17 years of experience, I hold a National N Diploma in Financial Management (NQF Level 6), a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, Senior Phase and FET (NQF Level 7), an Honours in Education (Education Management) (NQF Level 8), and a Master’s degree in Education (Education Management) (NQF Level 9). I am currently pursuing a PhD (NQF Level 10) in the same field with the University of South Africa (UNISA). My academic journey includes active participation in several research projects at UNISA.
Additionally, I have contributed to the field by submitting two journal articles for the Special Issue 2025 of the Journal of Vocational, Adult and Continuing Education and Training (JOVACET), a publication recognized by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
· Manage registration of students and student induction procedure in co-operation with other line managers.
· Planning of educator work allocation, Assisting Campus Manager with compilation of the time table in line with College Teaching and Learning plan.
· Coordinate the procurement of the programme’s training needs.
· Provide guidance on syllabi, curriculum and learning outcomes. Implement and monitor all policies that impact on learning delivery including examination and certification of students within the department.
· Create a conducive classroom environment and ensure efficient classroom management and discipline of students.
· Liaise with the Lectures, other Programme Managers and Student Support Officers in providing support interventions programme to students.
· Manage and facilitate Students Work Based Experience (WBE) as well as Lectures Workplace Integrated Learning (WIL).
· Liaise with National Examination and Assessment Directorate, College staff on examination matters.
· Disseminate information, answering enquiries and dealing with the complaint regarding external examination with staff, students and parents or guardians.
· Monitoring, submissions of examination/assessment and enrolment data to the relevant parties.
· Liaise with the Campuses with regard to time-tables, invigilation, certification processes and safety of question papers.
· Ensure all examination processes are complied with and provide examination statistics after each examination cycle

Current Role and Experience
In my current role as a Senior Lecturer at a TVET College, with 17 years of teaching experience, I have continuously advanced my academic credentials. I hold a Master's degree in Education Management and am currently pursuing a PhD in the same field with the University of South Africa (UNISA). Throughout my academic journey, I have actively contributed to various research projects under UNISA, further strengthening my knowledge and expertise.
