I did free lance writing work and strategic consulting to various clients to enhance brand exposure and maintaining relevance to different customers and stakeholders throughout South Africa.
At the core of my duties was to conceptualise and develop marketing strategies for the group and execute all corporate communication projects.
I was responsible for rebranding the medical scheme to ensure a clear distinction from SAMWU the union of 150 000 membership. The aim was to attract as many municipal workers as possible to join the scheme. My mandate was to devise and implement the schemes marketing and communication strategy, product design, marketing intelligence, member inductions /recruitment, conducting product presentations, HR/Broker/Shop stewards training and compiling member statistics reports.
