I am a diligent student who is dedicated and enthusiastic about academic pursuits and the improvement of human existence. I am at the inception of my medical research profession and lack substantial experience. However, I make up for this by demonstrating a commitment to acquiring as much knowledge as possible from those in my vicinity who possess more experience. I am of the opinion that this is the criterion for a successful candidate for the internship position.
Key responsibilities include sorting files, removing duplicates on the online database and some quality control of the data contained in the patient files as part of academic duties required by bursary organization.
I was responsible for capturing meeting and conference notes, conducting interviews with key informants so as to gather information which led to a booklet being written up on the impact of USAID funding during the COVID-19 pandemic, proof-reading the written up interview stories and liaising with the key informants via email to schedule meetings.
The job entailed assisting the school with managing First‑year Medical students as well as Biological Sciences students during their practical sessions. Duties included explaining the practical tasks to the learners, answering any questions they may have had and ensuring that they had the proper tools to successfully complete their tasks at the end of each lab session. Key responsibilities also included grading assignments and tests, and providing constructive feedback to students based on results.
