I have had the honor to have been with the eThekwini Municipality over 10+ years ,I have a sound knowledge of waste management; my experience involves co-originating and supervising in the implementation of projects or programs on waste management operations and the interaction with the diverse sectors within the eThekwini Municipality and the community as a whole, ensuring a better service deliverance to the communities and contribution to a healthier and clean environment. I manage EPWP Staff (Extended Public Works Program) and Outsourced Community Based Contractors through the area manager. I have had the opportunity to work with the Operations section where I had control of the staff and operational area within the CBD. I have ongoing interactions with the National and Local government officials, political ward councilors, community leaders and the community resolving waste management concerns or issues. I have established myself in the operational field and developed my organizational skills through optimizing all resources allocated to me effectively and productively Through an ongoing interaction with vast nature of people I have a strong ability to resolve or calm problem situations through absolute loyalty to the Municipality but more over to the communities I interact with. I ensure that development is in line with the Integrated Development Plan by contributing efficiently to the high demand standards practiced and encouraged by the department. My career objectives are to increase my global experience within the company culture that encourages growth and motivation. Waste Management Senior Supervisor

  • Supervising Driver Supervisors, Team Leaders, General Assistants and EPWP staff ensuring control in the area of operation
  • Ensuring fleet and working tools are adequately provided to skilled/ trained staff
