During my registrar , I rotated through various areas of Paediatrics and Child Health at 4 different hospitals ( Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital, New Somerset Hospital, Mowbray Maternity and Groote Schuur Hospital.

I have a special interest in Paediatric Critical Care and Gastroenterology.

The areas of Paediatrics and Child Health I was exposed to included:

- Neonatology

- Paediatric Critical Care

- Ambulatory and Emergency care

- General Paediatric and Sub specialty disciplines

My role in these various areas was to gain knowledge and skills to become a Paediatrician as well as to supervise and impart knowledge to junior staff . Some highlights of my career include managing patients on ECMO, Post operative cardiac patients and post operative Liver and Renal transplant patients.

Best research at the Child Priorities Conference in the categetory of Childhood Mortality -2023

Rotated through the PICU ,NICU and General Paediatric wards at three hospitals ; Greys Hospital, Northdale and Edendale Hospital.

Bethesda is rural hospital located in Northern KZN. I worked primarily in the Paediatric ward.
