  • The EPWP Reporting System is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of project and participant information on the EPWP Reporting System online platform. The role involves various administrative and technical tasks to support compliance with Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) reporting requirements.
  • User Management:
  • Facilitate registration of EPWP system users through formally signed and dated letters on official letterheads, as required by the EPWP Monitoring and Compliance Department
  • Conduct quarterly reviews to maintain role accuracy and system access integrity.
  • Ensure accurate assignment of system roles based on user function and project needs.
  • System Navigation & User Support:
  • Access the EPWP Reporting System using assigned login credentials. Assist users with password recovery and access issues.
  • Ensure passwords are updated monthly in compliance with system requirements.
  • Provide support to users experiencing access issues, including guiding them through the password recovery process.
  • Data Capturing:
  • Link and register participants (certified ID required; subject to Department of Home Affairs for validation).
  • Capture detailed project information, with a focus on registering Gardener and Volunteer Food Handler projects in accordance with programme guidelines.
  • Link participants to relevant projects and localities.
  • Project & Training Management:
  • Capture, update, and manage complete project business plans for each registered EPWP initiative.
  • Record training sessions and other relevant project activities.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Input and submit monthly attendance records per locality before progressing to summary reporting.
  • Compile and submit Monthly Progress Summaries once attendance data is approved.
  • Generate and export system-based reports to support performance tracking and management decision-making.

  • Responsibilities as a Site Agent surrounds managing staff, payroll, disciplinary enquires, and recruiting. The following roles and responsibilities apply to all the sites under my management.
  • Career Highlight:
  • As a client-orientated professional, I manage the relationship concerning monthly payments to Trillium Consulting through invoices. I secured a remittance for Trillium Consulting by effectively communicating with a payroll administrator, and we discovered that our client had a significant outstanding invoice.
  • Completing timesheets (Excel) which will be processed through to payroll. Timesheets are enrolled from a biometric system, known as ERS Biometrics.
  • Addendum to a contract, which will continue temporary contracts according to the size of the department. Which varies from weekly to monthly.
  • Managing staff entails disciplinary enquiries that includes, counselling sessions, verbal, written and final warnings. Dismissals are completed through hearings and terminating contracts.
  • Masterfile is a database containing employee details for administrative use. The Warning Masterfile records disciplinary actions, monitoring, and training.
  • IOD’s are conducted through a private doctor, if needed, staff members will be escorted to N1 City Hospital Western Cape. Final Medical Reports are needed for medical claims and are processed through the W.C.L 2 form as part of COIDA.
  • Throughout the recruitment process, reference and criminal checks are part of the interviews when recruiting new staff members.
  • Involves managing behavioral dynamics, communication processes, and conflict resolution between employees and other stakeholders.
  • Melbro - Oversee invoices, which are processed through the payroll team, calculating the unit price of each employee. Invoices are captured on a weekly basis.
  • Time and Attendance – Data is collected on a daily basis via the biometric system, Melbro makes use of ERS Biometrics and Cori craft utilizes Jarrison Time. Through biometric systems I can manage the headcount of each department and report absenteeism, late arrivals, and daily attendance.
  • Payroll – I construct timesheets which is exported from the biometric system, timesheets include the weekly hours of each employee and the tea and lunch of each employee. Each Site requires weekly reports of timesheets which is processed to the payroll team.
