IT Service Analyst (Graduate Intern) – City of Cape Town | CAR Programme

Part of the Core Application Refresh (CAR) Programme, a large-scale digital implementation modernizing the City’s enterprise systems and collaboration platforms. The programme includes migration from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA, as well as modern workplace initiatives such as Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams adoption to support the City’s move toward a more digitized and integrated operating environment.

Worked within the Data Scrubbing Team responsible for ensuring high-quality data readiness ahead of the SAP system transition.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducted data cleansing and validation processes to prepare enterprise data for migration into the new SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Ensured that SAP users across municipal departments uploaded clean, compliant, and relevant datasets ahead of system go-live.
