My most recent job was as an Asset Officer at Dihlabeng Local Municipality where I was responsible for any duties assigned to me in relation to the asset management section. My activities involved the physical verification of assets i.e. stock take, facilitating timeously barcoding of assets, monthly reconciliations between the General ledger and the BAUD system, monitoring the movement of assets within the municipality including disposals and transfers and with the preparation of the asset register for financial statement purposes.
