I am currently appointed as Head Land Assembly with effect from May 2018. My duties cover the overall management and implementation of the land assembly programme of the Agency which includes land planning and fixed asset management. Prior to that, I assumed the role of Regional Manager from 01 April 2015. My responsibilities include coordination of HDA delivery operations in three Provinces, namely Gauteng, Limpopo and North-West. Before assuming this role, I worked for the Agency as a Senior Manager Land Acquisitions with effect from 01 April 2010. I also acted as General Manager Land Acquisitions and Management for a considerable long time. I started my career in 1997 as a Properties Officer at the then Lethabong Metropolitan Local Council (Edenvale/Modderfontein Municipality) responsible for administration and management of council owned properties including all land legal matters relating to fixed council land and land use. In 1999, i was appointed as Acting Housing Coordinator to coordinate all new housing developments of the Municipality. With the establishment of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, i was appointed in 2003 as Executive Manager responsible for housing policy and planning. In 2006, I joined Limpopo Provincial Department of Local Government and Housing as a Chief Director responsible for Housing Sector Performance, Planning and Municipal Support. In this role, i coordinated human settlements planning across the Province and also assisted Municipalities in human settlements planning. In 2008, i joined the City of Tshwane as Executive Director Housing Provision and Resources Management. In this role i was responsible for human settlements planning, implementation and informal settlements management.
