In my role as Consultant with Envireo, I specialise in drafting comprehensive proposals for climate change adaptation and mitigation projects. Our projects are meticulously prepared for submission to key climate and environmental funds, notably the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The focus is on designing initiatives that significantly enhance resilience, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and support biodiversity in developing countries.

At Envireo, each project is not only technically sound but also adheres to the highest standards of environmental and social sustainability, aligning with the specific needs and context of each country. My primary responsibilities in this role encompass robust project development, data analysis, policy and strategy formulation, research and innovation, and stakeholder engagement and communication.

As a Junior Consultant at C4EcoSolutions, I supported the development of multiple climate adaptation and mitigation projects, helping several developing countries access finance for enhanced resilience, sustainable low-carbon development, and biodiversity conservation. My role as a Junior Consultant evolved from project support to project leadership, where I led a team in developing a Catchment Investment Programme for Eswatini to enhance water security. This role involved extensive stakeholder engagement, including an in-country mission, and oversight of the project's technical design.

During my six-month internship at C4EcoSolutions, I received comprehensive training on preparing project proposals for climate adaptation and mitigation projects for submission to major global climate and environmental funds, such as GCF, GEF, and others. The training covered various topics, including technical aspects of project design, writing skills development, and stakeholder engagement. Following the intensive training period, I became actively involved in project work under the guidance of senior technical leads.
