• Collaborated with a team of four individuals in order to audit 5 business units at the Mondi Group South Africa – Richards Bay Mill.
• Conducted an audit of the current "Permit-To-Work" system implemented by Mondi Group South Africa (a permitting system in place that is required to be adhered to by personnel in order to conduct work on site that requires a permit).
• Audited over 100 permits, where an evaluation of the existing system was required due to its time -consuming nature which resulted in contractor standing time, existing pressure on teams to adhere to schedules and incompletion of work.
• Spearheaded the formatting and the development of the audit report, the graphical and visual representation of the raw data obtained from the project, the analysis of the data and recommendations towards optimising the current system; which in turn served to improve the efficiency of the current system by 50.14%.

Material Controller Manager

Mondi Group South Africa (Pty) Ltd - Mondi Merebank

• Undertook the role of a material controller manager as a part of a flood restoration project, where Strategix Engineering was contracted to manage said project at the Mondi Group South Africa – Merebank Mill.
• Managed and accounted for over R50 million worth of physical components (over 10000 electrical and mechanical components); including inspecting the quality, condition and quantity of goods received, and allocating them to a space in the warehouse.
• Collaborated with the Strategix Engineering team, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) and Mondi personnel towards the planning, reviewing of risk assessments, and installation of said components, as well as the commissioning of machinery upon installation.
• Executed stock taking, management of spares (devising plans and systems to be utilised with regards to the control of the physical components), consolidation/preparation of components, management of resources/personnel (man-management) and management of tools/equipment all utilised during installation.
• Drafted RFQ’s (Request for Quotation) for projects, including conducting site walks, planning/scheduling projects, managing, liaising with and offering technical expertise to contractors.
