Unfortunately, my current position is incumbent on the financial wellbeing of the owner of the estate, and he is going through a bit of a financial crisis. I have extensive experience in the Agricultural, horticultural, Administration and Accounting as well as Veterinary and Equestrian fields, although I can teach, my main interests are mainly related to the agricultural fields:- Vegetable production, Organic farming, permaculture, animal management and production, stable management and veterinary, and estate fix up as well as building and renovations. I also am very well versed in office administrative functions, and I have many years’ experiences in QuickBooks, now using QuickBooks Pro 2008, QuickBooks Accountant desktop and now migrated to QuickBooks online Have experience on Pastel, last processed on Pastel Partner 2008 @ Goodbooks I would like to have a more secure income.   • Then moved to the Cape, ran Equine Veterinary Stables for Bridgette Boswell on Teunis Uys farm in Klapmuts, Full post and pre-op care of mostly racehorses, as well as some breeding work for Pax Stud. I worked with Dr. Shultz on Artificial insemination, and presale work with yearlings working with Godfrey Gird, for the sales in Germiston. I also did a few foaling seasons with John Gulch in Wellington.
  • Brigitte closed stables due to financial stress, and I then opened a small part-time livery yard in Wellington on the R44, with only 8 stables, and worked for Fairview Wine and Cheese, in a clerical position dealing with the sales, shipping and reconciliations for Woolworths, checkers etc. But at this time my mother was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, and I resigned and rather took on bookkeeping work from home and ran my livery yard at the same time. The livery stables became larger, and I moved to Rhebokskloof Estate, where I was able to operate a livery yard, and took in a partner who bred Appaloosa’s. At this stage I had 7 student instructors and 35 horses, did trail rides, taught stunt work and taught riding. My pupils regularly took part in shows, show jumping, school teams etc.
