Medical Doctor

Summary

Palliative Care is an unique branch of medicine, as it's primary focus is on the experience of the patient and their family rather than on recovery or improvement. I have a passion for palliative care because I enjoy connecting with patients and walking a road with them. I believe in caring for a patient on a physical, emotional and spiritual level and optimizing their quality of life until their last moments. I also believe I would be well suited for this job as I have had broad exposure to the principles of palliative care throughout internship, community service and volunteer work at Hospice.
