With a lifelong fascination in human behavior, resilience, and the underlying neurological processes, my career path has been driven by these passions. I obtained a B.Com Business Management degree in 2008 and pursued a BA Psychology Degree, followed by an Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of South Africa in 2019. I recently completed a Master's degree in Neuropsychology, deepening my understanding of the brain-behavior relationship. Combining my academic journey with practical experience as a counselor, I am well-equipped to support clients through various life stages. Since 2019, I have provided trauma counseling and expanded my practice to offer wellness counseling, specializing in marriage and relationship counseling, individual counseling, and trauma-related support. Creating a safe and collaborative space for clients to explore solutions, identify strengths, and build resilience is at the core of my approach. Beyond my formal training, I am also a wife and mother, which provides me with a deeper understanding of the personal and interpersonal challenges clients may face. As a registered Specialist Wellness Counselor with the ASCHP (Association for Supportive Counselors and Holistic Practitioners) and a registered Trauma Practitioner with TIRA-SA, I am committed to mental health awareness and education, as demonstrated by my passion for writing and several published articles.
