At age 15 I started my career as a waitress at Spur where I underwent all the necessary training. This improved my people and language skills and was a stepping-stone for a more permanent jobs. I then worked as a cashier at Roman’s Pizza, Spar and Pharma Valu. This assisted greatly with money management and customer liaison skills. My training in Hospitality Management brings new knowledge and skills in organizational and business as well as people management. Customer satisfaction, client service and quality management is of great importance and has been throughout my career and whatever positions I have had. I have also gained a lot of experience in the Pharmacology industry while working at Pharma Valu and during the USN promotions that I did at pharmacies on weekends and then full time employing as Supplement manager by Dischem. During my time at Liguori Agencies I represented various companies within the Dischem group, where I had to do the ordering, check the merchandising, build displays and do training. Thereafter I represented Johnsons and Johnsons in all the various baby stores and I represented Neutrogena in the clothing chain stores. I also saw some independent pharmacies for Procyidin. After that, from August 2007 I became the sole representative for MNI within Liguori. This meant that I was fully focused on their range. The product was brand new to market and my responsibilities were to introduce it to market, get it into the stores, proved training and grow this newly launched brand as well as build customer relationships. I sold to independent pharmacies. I also won the first rep of the year competition held within the company. During my time at Dischem I was Supplement Manager and in charge of running my entire department. Some duties included ordering, stock management, selling and consulting with clients, merchandising, promotions, customer relationships etc. At All Hair Solutions I represented a number of premium brands of Hair and Scalp products, all of which were also mostly unknown in the area allocated to me, and my challenge there was building up new relationships, introducing clients to these unknown brands and getting them to take on these brands. From there I got the once in a lifetime opportunity to be a vocal coach on one of the biggest vocal franchises on TV. I then stepped into becoming a full time performer and then after doing my Hypnotherapy and Life coaching qualifications, adding that to my full time occupation. Working with individuals as well as groups, privately as well as in corporate. Due to my hypnotherapy skillset as well as my people skills, I was approached by the South African Institute of Hypnotism to become part of the Training team where I currently supervise on the courses held on certain weekends. I believe that my very vast experience with such a wide variety of products and different industries, as well as my extensive people skills, will greatly benefit your establishment in many different ways.
