  • Reconcile the Terminal Departure Report (TDR) received from the terminals with Maersk internal data received from various executional teams.
  • Compare ordered services per vessel/voyage with activities performed by the terminal.
  • Approve or reject the payment of activities performed by the terminal if not ordered by Operations.
  • Ensure Maersk tracking system is accurately updated to generate a correct Purchase Order (PO) value
  • Discuss discrepancies with the terminal and conclude the payment value to ensure no unjustified costs are paid.
  • Performance management with vendors to ensure correct operational details are submitted for accurate invoice payment.
  • Promote adoption of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) with terminals.
  • Identify ideas to reduce discrepancies and create cost-saving opportunities jointly with Ocean Fulfilment, Procurement, Stowage, and Service Fulfilment.
  • Identify and work on opportunities to automate parts of the process.
  • Identify areas of waste in the process and initiate process improvements
