  • Facilitate compulsory and discretionary asset transfers from various Life and Asset Management Companies for local and offshore business (section 14,section 37, voluntary transfers,share transfers…)
  • Manage workflow items to access movement on instructions (resolve rejections , instructions queries and requests)
  • Manage transfers email box and ensure emails are responded/attended to within agreed turnaround times.

  • Instruct and follow up with local service providers on transfers and transfer related queries
  • Reconcile cash and units to clients portfolio

  • Be approachable, available and helpful as the point of escalation and clarity
  • Manage all inbound calls from IFA’s, their assistants and our administration office
  • Always be supportive in offering assistance to the brokers, broker assistants and be able to train their assistants on processes , Web access and requirements for various service providers
  • Broker visits together with Sales Associates for book transfers  Process and manage voluntary transfers from Investec’s direct offshore business as well as from external Transferring Agencies into the platform
  • Establish relationships with Transferring Agents and ensure that tasks submitted to them are processed correctly and timeously  Identify rejections trends/ issues and raise with the relevant Sales consultants to aid in streamlining transfers
  • Quality control checking of instructions  Perform risk rating for each client  Ensure confirmations received matches the clients investments once placed  Ensure clients are Regulation 28 complaint
  • Provide a holistic service to advisors and their assistants by forming part of a central team dealing with all relevant requests
  • Attend Bi weekly team meetings to raise concerns,suggestions and queries to ensure smoother a transfer process
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Book transfers – Prepare the fund analysis, transfer packs and requirements
  • Provide weekly feedback report on transfers per advisor.
  • Provide weekly feedback to the various regions on all transfers.
  • Prepare monthly projected transfer flows for the current book and the incoming payments.
