  • To resolve any identified conflicts in all the established community development projects
  • Ensuring the implementation of corporate services and financial management in line with Departmental Policies, Prescripts and Legislative Mandates
  • Ensuring the Human Capital Management i.e. supervising the Assistants Community Development Practitioners as well as the contracted EPWP’s and youth on learnerships.
  • Provide assistance and relevant support in projects identification and establishment
  • Facilitate and coordinating the extensive support to the viable local NPO Forum in the entire municipality.

  • My community development experience’s emphasis is based on the sustainable livelihood programme coordination where the primary facilitation is on the sourcing and monitoring of service providers that facilitates a thorough skills development and trainings to our less disadvantaged members of the community.
  • Through my community needs analyses tools and skills I facilitate a thorough initiation, planning, implementation and the monitoring of the community based organisations such as Local Economic Development Projects, Infrastructural Development and Poverty Alleviation Projects, NPO’s, Cooperatives and SMME’s according to the prescribed community development guidelines, procedures and the municipal area prioritized IDP.
  • Stakeholder Identification and Management
  • I have been working as a Mocwedi Community Led Forum Advisory steering committee member for the past 6 years at which the support I was rendering was on LED content implementation and the resolving of conflicts and disputes amongst the communities, clients and other relevant key stakeholders.
  • I have also been chairing the War on Poverty Programme for the entire municipality which is an integrated service orientated programme for all government sector departments and other external key stakeholders – the programme is meant to speed up the community needs intervention processes to our deprived wards and communities.
  • Local NPO Forum Coordinator
  • My primary responsibility on this programme is to ensure a thorough capacity building sessions to the established community CBO’s, liaising and referral, compliance and resource mobilization to these entities for possible funds and sponsoring and other any kind of support.
  • Project Management – Infrastructural Development Projects
  • Mothutlo More Bridge – Served as an advisory committee steering member to this successfully R28 million 7, 5 Kilometres bridge on 2017.
  • Marota Community Resource Centre – Also served as an advisory steering committee member to this 3.7 million budgeted community based resource centre that was also successfully completed and handed over to the beneficiaries on 2019.
  • Community Based Sustainable Livelihood Projects
  • Rekopantse Primary Sewing Coop, Botshelo Food Plot Coop, Readira Primary Youth Leather Supply Coop – These are one of my very best cooperatives that have been established and well implemented with my intensified support and facilitation from the Department of Social Development Funds. I have also been giving an intensified support to service orientated NPO’s and SMME’s across the municipality.
