  • Appointed (April 2018) as manager of the single cell genomics and flow cytometry platform

  • Supervision of Honours, Masters and PhD students
  • I'm a collaborator and researcher on two programs in IMBM involved with the discovery of novel bioactive compounds from marine sponge endosymbionts as well as a program to discover and develop novel biosurfactants
  • As part of my duties in IMBM I train students in the use of various equipment including HPLC-MS, AKTA/NGC FPLC, BD FACS Aria III flow cytometer, Q-Pix 2 colony picker, Illumina MiSeq sequencer, Oxford Nanopore Technologies sequencers, Roche light cycler and all small equipment (incubators, freezers, PCR machines).
