Provide support services to departmental committees
Prepare a year planner, including deadlines for the submission of reports.
Arrange logistics: attendance registers, notices of meetings, agendas, venues, etc.
Prepare draft agendas for approval by the Chairpersons.
Prepare briefing notes.
Capture and record the minutes of governance meetings.
Capture and record the decisions taken at the meetings.
Follow up and track the implementation of decisions.
Ensure compliance with regard to committee documentation and procedures.
Ensure that the Terms of Reference for committees are developed and revised.
Coordinate and consolidate provincial legislature matters
Coordinate and consolidate responses to legislative questions, petitions, and house resolutions.
