• Testing and approving incoming raw materials.
• Verifying incoming raw materials (grading certificates- Soya, Sorghum & Maize).

- Ensuring lab has sufficient consumables and inspect

expiry date.

- Keeping GLP and cleaning of lab.

• Recording Near-misses and ensuring corrections are taken by responsible person.
• Assist with traceability exercises as per schedule.
• Enuring non-conforming stock stock is lapelled and labels removed or updated once approved.
• Pest control representative as per appointment letter.
• External laboratory testing:

- Taking samples as per customer requirements.

- Compile sample requests, request PO, collection and

send samples to external lab.

- Request and take swabs, environmental, product

sampling as per schedule.

• Ensuring sample and cleaning equipment storage rooms are kept in orderly manner.
• Responsible for accompanying hygiene service provider and signing-off services.
• Non-conformances: Assist in investigation and not root cause analysis.
• Reporting any raw material, packaging, product and test/ inspection deviations or food safety related matters to manager.
• Reporting any deviations or issues which might trigger or require procedures to be reviewed.
• Enforcing quality, food safety and change procedures across the food manufacturing operation.
• Reporting and communicate problem (s) with regards to the Food Safety Management System, Occupational Health and Safety, and Environmental Management System to manager.
• Stand-in for Quality Graduate

• Conducted interior and exterior pest control inspections as per schedule
• Assisted appointed pest control contractor when on site
• Communicated with appointed contractor regarding sightings and ensure follow-up inspections are conducted as per schedule.
