• Working in the Beauty, Wellbeing & Personal Care (BWPC) R&D division as an assistant manager leading digital tool adoption & data transformation in the category
• Responsibilities: Automation of ad-hoc business processes for higher efficiency
• Responsible for UAT testing & adoption of new tools developed by the Unilever global data office
• Partner with Global Digital R&D teams to consult input into Digital tool design, change impact assessment, risk mitigation and execution
• Partner with category teams in creation of new digital tools and R&D BWPC data insights that support delivery of growth in Africa
• SAP PLM Data Management, including end-to-end specification management
• SAP PLM Expertise and Super user support to R&D end users

Achievements

• Developed a Power BI report for monitoring specification data quality, impact on business, team performance against division KPIs, and generating product insights for the BWPC R&D and Supply Chain departments
• Developed a Power BI dashboard to drive SKU simplification and overall cost-savings via specification reduction
• Developed & successfully rolled out end-to-end Power BI, as well as Power Automate training for the R&D BWPC Africa team
• Automated the in-house savings reporting tool, unlocking 18 hours monthly for use on innovation
• Achieved a PIRD adoption rate of 99% across the oral care, skin care, and hair care categories
• Developed a central repository hosting all BWPC Africa R&D essential sites and workstreams on a one-stop hub.

• Working in the product insights team to develop ETL pipelines, Data Testing innovation, and BI solutions for teams in the business, such as: integrating automated-data testing into applications and UI testing frameworks, as well as building Power BI reports for business users to monitor their data activity across our data platforms.

Achievements

• Developed a Power BI dashboard for data synchronization from local servers onto the AWS EDL (Amazon Redshift).
• Developed an end-to-end data lineage report and Data Quality testing workflow for one of a key product line, and execution of automated testing on a critical SP in the Save product line.
• Novel research on a data testing tool to be incorporated into the product development cycle as a mandatory task in development approval checklist.
• Collaborated on Extract, Transform, Load tasks, maintaining data sync integrity and troubleshooting while in the EDL2 Team.

• Working in the business transformation department in a hybrid work-innovation programme primarily focusing on Agile-led business process automation

• Developed a Power BI dashboard for vacancy tracking and KPI monitoring.
• Built a Power-App for capturing data entries into the Recruitment Master Data platform.
• Investigated & successfully mediated queries regarding software access for new hires.
• Helped reduce the Time to Fill by 10-days through recruitment systems analysis and remapping of processes in the Africa Zone recruitment blueprint.
• Designed a Macros-Based Excel Spreadsheet to streamline month-end journal closing in the General Ledger finance team.
