I am a caring and committed Early Years teacher with five years of experience in the education field and a genuine passion for supporting young children during the most important years of their development. My teaching philosophy is rooted in creating calm, nurturing spaces where children feel safe, curious, and confident to explore. I have also completed my Honors degree, which strengthened my understanding of child development and enriched my teaching practice. I am a positive, enthusiastic individual who brings a warm, friendly energy into the classroom and takes pride in always creating a welcoming environment for my learners.
My two and a half years of teaching in Dubai broadened my perspective on early childhood education, exposing me to diverse cultures, high international standards, and families from all over the world. This experience deepened my understanding of how meaningful play, sensory learning, and real-life experiences positively influence a child’s development.
Recently, my family and I returned to South Africa after my husband was offered a managerial opportunity. This transition allowed me the privilege of spending valuable time at home with my young child, while also starting and growing my own small business focused on creating personalized and high-quality products. Through this experience, I further developed my creativity, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
While this season has been incredibly rewarding, it has also reaffirmed my passion for teaching and working with young children. I am now excited to return to Dubai and continue my career in education, where I can combine my international experience, strong academic background, and genuine love for early childhood development to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
