I am a self-taught professional make-up artist based in Johannesburg, Sandton. The owner and founder of Lawrencia Professional MUA (Pty) Ltd, a registered and authentic company. I discovered my talent at the age of 11 years. I have been doing makeup for more than 5 years, one (1) year of service practice, three (3) years of freelance, and 3 years in business, while studying my Bcom Degree. I have excellent communication skills. I am a naturalist in consulting with clients and creating custom looks based on their specifications, determining which materials and colors are the most suitable, and having knowledge of different color palettes and design styles, among other duties. I know how to create unique designs for what my clients require and to stay updated on the latest trends in fashion and beauty. I am also a full-time student at Varsity College, studying Bcom in Strategic Management, about to complete my 3rd year of my degree in Strategic Management. In my studies, I have learned to manage businesses and projects proactively with a focus on long-term strategy, rather than reacting to day-to-day hiccups. The strategy management teaches you to ensure the company's resources, in terms of products and services, are used wisely and vested in the most promising opportunities. Strategic Management explores various aspects, from critical decision-making to setting business goals, from creating plans to anticipating outcomes, from analyzing risks to determining which external factors represent roadblocks, and everything in between. That is why I am able to keep up my small entrepreneur business running while I am studying and of course doing very well in my studies. My academic records can attest to my statement.
