Laro Delport

I have attended TUT for since 2019 up to date.

I played rugby for the university and was chosen to be captain after only two and n half years.

At the moment I am a full time student, with a full time job, and I also run a business on the side.

I am a very outgoing person and enjoy working with people.

I enjoy identifying problems and working towards a solution.

I have my own business with two other partners in which we do all the work ourselves. I am responsible for re-orders, finances and most of the logistical aspects.

My job at the moment is requires me to be responsible for a big part of the business. I am responsible to ensure work flows continuously and no production stops occur. I work extensively with suppliers to ensure we use the right suppliers and work towards building strong relationships with those suppliers.

I have good leadership qualities, and I am a firm believer that in order to lead, you must be able to follow. I was a prefect in high school, and I was regularly chosen for captaincy in school rugby.

I am hard working and enjoy my field of study.

My long term goal would be to become a supply chain consultant.
