As the "Red Baroness," Lana has produced and directed online burlesque shows, such as "ScantyFloss," showcasing her creativity and passion for performance art. Red Baroness is also the first South African to win an international crown for South Africa. She achieved this in 2022 at the Slavic Burlesque Festival in Warsaw, Poland. In 2023, Red Baroness went on to become the first South African to headline an international show in Ostrava, Czech Republic. As Red Baroness she has performed many times over the years at the annual TGE (The Grand Exhibition Burlesque Benefit), an event in which all proceeds are donated to Rape Crisis.
Gender-Based Violence Awareness: Drawing from personal experiences, Lana has been a vocal advocate against gender-based violence. In 2021, she initiated the "Voice for the Voiceless" campaign, which involved symbolic solo walks through Cape Town to raise awareness and funds for organizations supporting victims of gender-based violence.
Lana was also actively involved with the local C.A.N. (Community Action Networks) during the COVID19 pandemic and assisted with cooking, feeding, and training the poor, impoverished and those less fortunate as a result of the pandemic.
