Additional Information

After 21 years of teaching, I decided to take a personal sabbatical during the 2023-2024 school year. I wanted to recharge and renew my passion for teaching by taking time for personal reflection and growth. I moved to South Africa and traveled to many different countries. During my personal sabbatical, I took the opportunity to immerse myself in diverse cultural experiences, foster a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity and inclusivity in the classroom. As a teacher that is ESL certified, I'm looking forward to integrating culturally responsive teaching methods upon returning to the classroom.
