Company Overview: Assmang is among the top 10 ferromanganese producers globally. This is a high and medium-carbon and/or low-carbon ferromanganese smelting operation (including raw materials, smelting, crushing, screening, metal recovery processes).

• I have 2 years of experience, working at Assmang Manganese under the Training Pool program from 2010 to July 2011.

Here are the sections I worked in:

a) Production - as a Tapper in the furnice,

b) Laboratory - as a Sampler of raw material,

c) Raw Material - as a Packer and Cleaner,

d) Garage - as a Mechanical First Assistant,

e) Stores - as a Receiver and Issuer First Assistant.
