Summary

I am an Associate Professor in English Language Education and have always been a teacher at heart. I believe that if I can instill a passion and a culture of care in the training of future teachers and equip them with the knowledge and skills that they need to effectively teach, they can reach the next generation in ways that I have not even imagined. This should be done not by separating the responsibilities of leadership, teaching, learning and research in academia, but by integrating them in my service to students, colleagues and school communities.
