  • I completed a total of 50 hours of shadowing with Shadow.Me.
  • I received on-the-job training where I, the student, learnt from a more experienced professional trainer by closely observing them in action and how they interacted with their client's.
  • I shadowed senior staff members through their 45 minute to 1 hour sessions, sharing best practices for engaging, teaching, guiding and showing all different clients how to perform each and every exercise.
  • The benefits of shadowing will provide me with real-world experience in various fitness field's.
  • It's focus is on skill development and transfer; due to the length of my shadowing experience , I was able to pick up some of the essential skills required for the job.

  • As a student I provided training to clients aged 19-27, focusing on maintaining and enhancing their overall health and fitness.
  • Boosted client motivation through consistent encouragement, support, and progress tracking.
  • Conducted fitness assessments to evaluate clients physical abilities and set achievable goals.
  • Implemented safe and effective exercise programs, reducing the risk of injury for clients during workouts.
  • Demonstrated how to carry out various routines and exercises.
  • Provided fitness assessments and program planning.
  • Trained clients during strength training, cardio vascular exercise, and stretching. I also incorporated a HIIT session for one of my client's.
  • I did all of this voluntarily as well as for exposure of the industry.
  • Educated clients on importance of proper nutrition to reach fitness objectives.
  • I am currently working on formulating a weight-loss training program for a new client, also voluntarily and free of charge.
  • I made a video demonstrating an aerobics class as well as a bootcamp class. Although these video's were not al top tier level, I was able to produce something based off of the knowledge I have acquired while studying.
  • I had the opportunity to train one of my clients showcasing basic home workouts which individuals can do from anywhere. This video is uploaded on my YouTube platform.
