Kiran Bloom

I am grounded, steady, loyal and quietly determined. I have a strong appreciation for comfort, beauty and anything that engages the senses. I am intuitive and resourceful.

I enjoy being with people. Generally I do not rush into relationships and prefer to trust slowly and through consistency. I value reliability and listen carefully. I prefer calm socialising rather than chaotic.

In my spare time I am likely to spend it at or near a body of water.  From a swimming pool to the sea, running river water and even the muddy water of a dam. I enjoy swimming lengths at gym for exercise.  Recently, I have started taking cold water dips in the ocean. I love to go surfing and spending time on the beach. When I'm in the sea on my board, I'm in my happy place. The water is calming and meditative.

We live at the foot of Table Mountain so it is very accessible to me.  Mountain walks and hikes have always been a firm favourite of mine.

I continue with waterpolo at a senior social level club once a week.

As far back as I can remember I have always loved cars. They mean so much more to me than getting from A to B safely. Cars represent freedom, prestige, precision and personality. I am particularly drawn to top end cars, the growl of the engine, the sleek lines, the engineering and attention to detail in design.

History was my favourite subject at high school and also the subject in which I scored the best results. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the world of yesteryear and how historical events have impacted and shaped how the world is today.
