I joined the pre-eminent investment bank on the African continent during 2017. My initial role was an analyst role in the Principal & Structured Finance team. The team specialises in mezzanine finance as well as broader equity risk finance. I have been involved in a number of deals from inception at the risk management phase all the way up to the legal execution and pay away stages.


The deals I have worked on have been cross-border equity finance trades including Nigerian oil & gas and NBFIs, East African media and telecoms, South African renewable energy projects, listed REITs, industrials and NBFIs. My role on the transactions I have worked on include:


  • Compliance checks
  • Reviewing of non-disclosure agreements
  • Performing due diligence on deals
    Building dynamic financial models for the proposed transactions
  • Performing valuations on live transactions for determining range of equity finance the
