Summary

I am a candidate Civil Engineer with a passion for structural and geotechnical engineering. I have gained experience in multiple facets of civil engineering including the planning and execution of slope stability investigations, road geometric assessment, the construction monitoring of road construction and structures with emphasis on bridge/culvert structures and the design and construction monitoring of slope stability support measures. I have undertaken rock slope risk assessments and detailed geotechnical/geological investigation of rock slopes and contributed to the design of rock slope stabilization measures. I have experience with numerical modelling of rock-support interaction. In addition to the aforementioned, I have been directly responsible for the project and contract management of civil engineering projects, I am well adept at working in, and interfacing with, multidisciplinary teams on projects of varying size and complexity and I have strong writing and communication skills. My experience as a resident engineer on the SKA MID1 Infrastructure project is the pinnacle of this experience.
