Moreover, mobilised internal resources and support to strengthen Occupational Health and Safety Programme in the workplace.
• Effectively managed multiple projects such as Employee Health and Wellness Initiatives for De Beers Mines, Presidential Health Summit for National Department of Health, International Maternal Newborn Conference, Donor Forums, Occupational Health and Safety Initiatives and the implementation of the medical surveillance for Port Health Services. Additionally, led cross-functional teams in the successful implementation of complex projects, ensuring alignment with the organisational objectives and timelines.
• Successfully negotiated partnerships agreements with development partners, government agencies and non-governmental organizations to maximize mutual benefits and achieve shared objectives such as the U.S President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief Agreements, European Union Sector Budget Support Programme, South Africa-France Declaration of Intent on the implementation of National Health Insurance, SA-UK Partnership Health Partnership MoU, GIZ and KFW Implementation Agreement etc.
• Played a pivotal role in nurturing a culture of adaptability, resilience and continuous improvement in the workplace post COVID-19. Furthermore, advanced collaboration between management and organised labour to improve the health and safety of employees, ensuring a supportive working environment and compliance Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993.
