- Perform Incoming Quality Control (IQC) of raw materials and products; control placement of sensitive materials and ensure the correct quality materials enter the manufacturing facility; utilize Manufacture Execution System to analyse product details from serial numbers; implement quality checks and testing of finished solar panel modules prior to dispatch; perform batch testing of solar panels in the laboratory in line with ISO17025, IEC61215, IEC61219 and IEC61730 standards
- Draw up Standard Operating Procedures for all machinery as well as manufacturing and dispatch processes and policies; accurately calibrate machinery used to conduct quality checks on solar panels, such as Sun Simulator and High Potential machine; manage vehicle logistics and checklists
- Ensure regular training, certification, testing and health checks of employees in the company and on-site; provision of Personal Protective Equipment and induction of staff prior to site visits; manage Injured on Duty (IOD) claims and insurance procedures; understanding of Compensation for Occupational Injuries and Disease Act (COIDA) and qualified in first-aid
- Collaborate with all departments in the company to ensure a safe and quality working environment for all employees
- Manage inventory, safety and quality conditions in chemical room and manufacturing facility; facilitate the safe disposal of chemicals and whole recycling of materials by accredited e-waste companies
