Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials to ensure production continuity. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to verify stock levels.
Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to order raw materials, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery. Assess vendor performance and maintain relationships to optimize supply chain efficiency.
Material Flow Management: Coordinate the transfer of raw materials between departments, ensuring that production schedules are met. This includes tracking material movement and addressing any supply chain issues that arise.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of material transactions, including receipts, usage, and discrepancies. Generate reports to provide insights into inventory levels and material usage trends.
